New Tools for Regulators

The Better Regulation Delivery Office (BRDO), which is part of the department of Business Innovation and Skills (BIS), has now made available a new online tool for the use of the Regulators of the leisure industry. The intention is to secure a common approach to professional competency across the country. The project was led by BRDO in partnership with the Institute of Licensing (IoL) and other members of the Regulatory Excellence Forum.

The Licensing Act Guidance for Regulators Information Point can be accessed via the BIS website and contains details of the main elements of the legislation covering the leisure industry. This provides an easy to access reference point for all.
